WordPlay Wednesday!
Written by: Kim Sawyer
Happy Wednesday everyone! Wow, this past week has been eventful, hasn’t it? Especially, with the shocking deaths of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett. Because there’s been so much coverage concerning Michael’s and Farrah’s death, I will not include anything about them in this week’s WordPlay Wednesday. I will, however, try to make the list contain a broad range of topics.
As usual, for those of you who are new to 7DayBuzz, here is how WordPlay Wednesday works: We present five topics to you. All we ask in return is that you comment on each topic, but use only five words. Also, your comments should be as descriptive as possible with the five words you choose to use. Okay, here we go…..
1) Venus and Serena Williams Reach Wimbledon Semi-Finals
3) Vibe Magazine is the Latest Casualty in this Bleak Economy
4) Burger King’s Latest Ad Is Sexually Explicit

1. Each other’s toughest competition
2. Foolproof vote counting is needed
3. Death by recession and Internet
4. Obvious and unnecessary
5. More racists come out
In reference to #5, here are some comments following the linked article:
1. People at the time came from all over the world. They came from Spain, Italy, England, Holland and whatever else. They were not Americans as were the slaves they were brought here from Africa. Those who call them selves African-American if you were born here your parents were born here listen up YOU ARE AMERICANS. Quit segregating yourself by calling yourself African-American. Talk English like other Americans you don’t like to be looked at different then don’t try to act different. Take Secretary Rice, Col. Powell and President Obama and many others in politics and holding other executive positions in the private industry they are remarkable well respected individuals eventhough they don’t “walk the walk and talk the talk” you do. So grow up and be what you are Americans. Of course if you don’t want to be American the world is a big place and this is a free country.
2. Well, well well, here we are again, riding that great underground railroad to the big pot of gold in Washington. With Obama as the engineer, and the revrend Wright as the conductor, reperations should just be a few stops in te future. Hang on Americans (without a hyphen), you are going to have to pay for some old obsolete farm equipment that never worked that well anyway
3. The apology I am waiting on is the apology from our so-called leader of what was the free world before he came on board. He lied, bullied and cheated his way into office and calls it transparency. He took all that this country was built on – all our fathers fought for to keep us safe and free and trashed our constitution. he has disgraced us among out enemies and allies and has belittled us before the world. This all- knowing idiot – who speaks less properly than the president before him… should be impeached. he should apologize for his blatent stupidity and arrogance.
4. The ni.ggers in the whitehouse. Whatelse do they want?
There is so much hate in this country right now! Please, click on the link and read all the comments. At this point, it doesn’t matter if you are a reflection of those who feel like you. What matters is doing something to change all of this hate. In my opinion, all of this hate is coming from the top. By that I mean people are speaking out because of who the president is.
Come back tomorrow and let’s talk about hate.
