It seldom seems to be the individuals with questionable character. I can still recall our last conversation. Ironically, we talked about death-- among other things. He shared a part of himself that night that others don't often get a chance to see. Bernie was a very spiritual, humble and loving man in addition to being a good father, husband, friend and one of the best entertainers ever. We're all going to miss him immensely. His job here on earth is done and he has left us with a lot. One thing for sure is that we can never think of him without smiling. Right now he leaves us with sadness in our hearts, but I think the happiness he placed in our hearts will make the sadness disappear in time. He will be missed. All the comments that have been made, Mr. Bernie Mac deserves them all. A fun figure to the public eyes. Mr. Bernie Mac has made me laugh when times I didn't want to laugh. He's a real comedian. A true American Idol to comedy. When the Ocean movies started coming to the theater, not only did I see them, I purchase the DVDs just because of Bernie Mac, though I like Clooney, Brad, Matt and others, but it was just something seeing Bernie Mac.made me blush, smile, just act a fool. His charisma was just fascinating. We love you Bernie Mac and we will miss you. It was on Deft Comedy Jam. My initial thoughts were “that sure is an outlandish get-up he’s wearing, Air Brushed Jeans and Shirt”. He won me over that night. I can’t tell you how much my family and I enjoyed his performances! To this day, I still use his phase, “I ant’s scare none of…!” Bernie was good man and comedian, he will be truly missed.
