The Plots to Assassinate Barack Obama Begins….

Written by: Kim Sawyer

I just heard on my local news station here in Mississippi that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has broken up TWO plots to kill Obama. In addition, these groups were going to go on a Tennessee murder spree, killing 102 Black people by either shooting them or decapitating them. These groups are located in Tennessee and they are described as Neo-Nazi skinheads. In my opinion, this is not going to stop – these types of threats and plots. They are just going to intensify! Case in point, didn’t someone yell the N word at a McCain-Palin rally? To all of those people who think racism is not alive and well — think again!

Here’s more proof that racism is alive and well in America. McCain’s people seem to have no qualms about pouring kerosene onto smoldering ashes to get a conflagration going. Lynching was considered a sport 60 years ago, and I think the grand old tradition would cheerfully be revived if some ‘holdouts’ could get the chance.

First off, I live in Tennessee and yes racists do still exist but to somehow draw a line to McCain is just plain reckless. These crazy idiots have hate for Obama’s skin color and are not motivated by McCain. Obama could be running against anyone and would still face the threats of these delusional idiots. I remember McCain immediately correcting and defending Obama when a lady referred to him as an Arab at one of his rallies. Lets look back at the Republican convention and numerous presidential addresses throughout the years, idiots get into these events and make absurd comments or stand up in protest. What do you want them to do, deny access to people who look like they might say something?

Hey Ryan, what’s happening in Tennessee? I agree with you the idiots are not motivated by McCain and I gave him a mental pat on the back for correcting the lady who referred to Obama as an Arab. Now, Mrs. Palin – she’s not trying to discourage or correct anyone is she?:–)

Don’t you think there’s been a surge in division amongst the American people since the 2008 election process began?

    Kim,
I don’t have a clue what’s going on with Tennesseans lately. First they hack Sarah Palin’s email and now the despicable skin heads come out of the wood work. Despite popular beliefs we’re not all dumb rednecks, I swear!

I’m assuming you’re referring to Sarah’s “Pallin’ around with terrorists” comments? If your referring to something else please let me know, I’d like to know. As far as the comment I listed, the only thing in question is whether or not they were pals, not whether the terrorist statement is accurate because Ayers is absolutely a terrorist so that part of the comment is true. I’ll be honest, I think it is unbelievable that this maniac is educating Americas youth.

Sure people are divided. We are facing the worst financial crisis since the great depression and everyone is blaming someone else. People are losing their investments, houses, and jobs; all of which creates division through anger and confusion.
As always, thanks for great discussion.

    Hi Ryan

You are correct, absolutely, about the delusional idiots. But McCain was a bit tardy in addressing the reference to Obama as an Arab. There was a similar attack at a rally where McCain only smiled and moved on.

There have been other attacks on Obama in usually-tolerant California that bother me. I list links to two of the stories.

Although these attacks on Obama have been rescinded or condemned by GOP party officials, they should never have been publicly released. These attacks are not isolated, and yes, I do hold the GOP campaign for McCain/Palin responsible.

    Mizrobin,
I just noticed your response. I’m about to head to bed but will read through the articles listed after work tomorrow and give a response. Oddly enough, I was actually born and raised in California (Up to 21 years of age) and actually lived most of those years in Woodland a small suburb 15 minutes north of Sacramento. I’ll get back to you tomorrow.
    Sincerely,
    Ryan

    Mizrobin,
I had a chance to look over the articles you linked to and I must agree that this is a perfect example of dirty politics. Obama on the $10 bill eating chicken and watermelon is obviously race motivated and disgusting. It also sounds like the Sacramento Republicans need to re-establish some common sense, I can’t believe they would put that garbage on their site.

I of course have to offer a comparison though. This type of dirty politics goes both ways, perfect example “Joe the Plumber.” The democrats have done everything in their power to destroy this man who probably asked one of the most important questions of this entire election. The poor guy has been drug in the mud and for what? Obama was strolling through his neighborhood and he asked a very intelligent and important question. We all need to remember that Joe the Plumber is a US citizen and is not running for office, so his background, tax record, qualifications to be a plumber, etc… is no ones business.

The main reason I loved “Joe the Plumbers” question is because it does what most of these smear tactics do not, focuses on a actual issue that is important to Americans. The reality is that the voters should concentrate on the issues and ignore the non-sense. Thanks for sharing those articles.

First off, to remark on the assumption that all folks in Tennessee are “ignorant rednecks”, I want to go on record that I don’t believe that. Tennessee doesn’t deserve that generalization. I’d say there are a couple of states that qualify for that honor, and no, I’m not going to name then lest some irate redneck track me down and burn my house.

Second — Woodland! Then you know Orangevale. Nice to meet an expatriate.

Now to business. I thought it was the GOP that was dragging Joe through the slime, so I did searches to see if I could figure out which party was doing the muckraking. The one article I could find discussed Joe’s celebrity, and mentioned that even before the third debate had concluded the press was searching him out. If that is true, then the media could be held responsible for the release of the details of Joe’s personal life. I can’t validate this posting, as I have no idea what the Politico is, but I will keep researching to see who started the fuss. Article is at http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1008/14652.html

I agree with you, though, about Joe’s question. Regardless of who started to tear him apart, his question was very timely, and deserved to be answered intelligently. The consequent fuss over his his tax status, contractor’s license, etc., is a slimy attempt to evade the issue, regardless of who started it. The question, to my knowledge, has yet to be addressed.

    MizRobin,
I do indeed know where Orangevale is. I actually spent some time there when I was a troubled youth. lol (I believe the hoodlum kids I hung out with at the time referred to it as OV and I probably shouldn’t say the nickname they had for Citrus Heights )I took the wife to California for a visit about a year and a half ago and we had a lot of fun, got to see some old friends and the house I grew up in. I’ll tell you the one thing I miss about Sacramento, Fry’s electronics. The closest one to us now is three and a half hours a way.
