This is a waste. If the time it took to make this a possibility was spent on cancer research maybe we could be that much closer to realizing a cure for cancer. I'm sure this nonsense is making someone a lot of money, but it is just that, nonsense.
Reply

@Kathy Curry - According to the article, the treatment is fully reversible, should the child decide to remain the sex they wore born. And, there's not suppose to be any side or lasting effects.
Reply

Oh my. I never.... I have always grown up in church being taught homosexuality is wrong and a choice. In more recent years, hearing people crying out and saying they have always felt opposite of the sexual identity they were born with, I have questioned if all of the people that are homosexuals choose to be. However, if that equates to me saying God has done something wrong, I take it back! I just know, in this case you are speaking of, it seems so wrong. Full grown adults struggle with this type of thing and they have more life and experience under their belt when they go through it. How is a child able to make such a monumental decision? Honestly, I see it as another form of child abuse and the parents not stepping up and being, the parents! 18 years old is when kids should get to independently make their own decisions! And sometimes not then!

What side effects and lasting effects does this medicine have and what if they decide they want to stay with their God given identity? How long does it take for the meds to wear off and they go back to normal development? Wow…
Reply
