Hi Marie, welcome to 7DayBuzz. I couldn't agree with you more about this song - it ministers to you at just the right time, and soothes your soul in all those areas where you need peace. This song is one of my all time favorites.
Reply

Minister Marvin Sapp's Song Never would have made it, speaks directly to my life situation. I have been through some up hill ,down hill battles, the boat was rocking so hard but I held on, I am never determined like this before to keep holding on and let the Lord of the universe take care. I never would have made it without Jesus, this song speaks Power to my mind. I think this was written for me, because all that I have been through is in this song. Oh how I love this song.

Blessings, Blessings, Blessings,

Wanna know what life is? Life is what happens to you after you've planned everything.

I guess hard is relative to what time frame you're in. For example the early Christians were homesless, beaten, killed etc. Imagine living under Saddam.

Anybody here living without A.C? Anybody's fridge empty? Your house been broke into by the police, your family dragged outside and shot?

Paul called our problems "light afflictions." I think everything is how one wants to view it. The bible is right on it. We are just like the children in the wilderness...never able to see the promise because of our flesh. I'm just as stuck in my situation as anybody. Don't like it at all. Trying to figure it out and all I get is nothing.

I really thing that fasting is the solution...but that's just more suffering.......I think the slution is to suck it up, take it like saved man/woman and wait on our change......

Maybe things ain't as bad as we think they are... Maybe it's our dislike for inconviences
Reply

Tom, keep pushing! Matter of fact, P.U.S.H. (pray until something happens!) I am a repeat witness, you will make it through. You won't know how you made it through. You won't know when you made it thourgh. You won't know why you made it through. You will look down at yourself and pinch yourself and realize you are no worse for the wear. But you will know who brought you through and will you know, you never will have made it without God! Keep pushing!
Reply

It seems as though I'm going through some of those tough times right now. The only thing I can do is pray and keep pushing.
Reply

I was at an amusement park last weekend, Carowinds, and heard Marvin Sapp sing "Never would have made it" in person. It was fantastic and there was real anointing and the spirit of the Lord there. I watched him sing "I come to the garden" and basically serenade us with the majority of the 13,000 they said were there sitting. All of a sudden when the audience heard those 5 magical words, "Never would have made it" I saw with my own eyes thousands of people stand with hands lifted in agreement with the words to this song., AND IT BLESSED OUR SOULS TREMENDOUSLY! Marvin Sapp came back on stage to the far left and stayed to listen to Tye Tribett, J Moss, and Fred Hammond. I think this speaks VOLUMES to what kind of spirit Marvin has. He stood, raised his hand, and praised the Lord with the other 3 artists and THEN to our delight while Fred was talking he honored him for still being there and later walked over and got him to sing a chorus with him (Fred) of "How great is our God". WE WENT INTO STRAIGHT WORSHIP THEN!!! Fred commented during his talking about Marvin that sometimes God just uses a song to be anointed to bless people everywhere therefore, the song is just that anointed and blesses folk everywhere all the time!
Reply
