Child Abuse In The Name Of Allah

Written by:

I was sent an email the other day about an 8 year-old boy in Iran who was caught stealing bread.  After doing some research I found out that these pictures are old – maybe from 2005 – and the pictures might not be legit.  I’m not really sure how they could have been faked, but fake they may be.

If we were to assume these pictures are real, the question could be asked about their religion.  Is this what Allah would have them to do?

At such a young age, is this child really responsible enough to lose the use of a limb?

If this is some kind of “Streat Theater” as it have been described, should the child get Iran’s version of an Oscar?  Look at that face and tell me if this is something fake.

In America, the boy’s parents would be criticized for allowing this to take place, even if it was fake.

I would like to know how this is being faked, but a thought just crossed my mind…

There you have it.  The only thing that makes me pause is the little guy’s face in the first two pictures.  I would think that a child that age would be in tears knowing what was about to happen.  An 8 year-old knows enough to understand that little left arm will never be used again.  Heck, I’m nearly :D 30 years older than him and I would probably be in a puddle of tears if this were to happen to me.

I think one thing is clear: some countries have a twisted way of carrying out what they think is God’s will.

Real or not, it’s horrible. If it’s real, heaven help those people. If it’s fake, their mindset is sickening AND heaven help those people for even devising such a thing.

I’m confused as to what it is, period. I understand it could be fake but what is the message? Is it punishment to the child?

  3. Tom Sawyer Says:

It is punishment. The child was caught stealing a loaf of bread and his punishment was to have his arm ran over by a truck. There is some confusion as to the validity of it all.

If they faked this, it is a good fake. They could tell the rest of the world it is a fake because others have a hard time stomaching their punishments.

    Oh. What a shame.

This could be fake, and this could be real, I just do not agree with the lines that the boys face should be in tears before his arm be run over by the truck. As I look closely at the picture, the face of the boy is really scared, he just didn’t show any tears, why? maybe because he grew in a place full of terror and cruelty, of which tears is a manifestation of weakness, or maybe he just couldn’t show tears anymore… As I see it, its not fake… and I feel horrible for the boy, those bastards that are behind those arm crushing, should have no place here on earth… Islamic Justice? The Religion of Peace and Love? … Have you guys heard about DU’A KHALIL ASWAD who were stoned, humiliated and brutally killed by mob for falling in love with a SUNNI boy, while the girl’s family is practicing YEZIDI, and the horrible killing of that poor girl were watched by hundreds of YEZIDI men

  6. terri Says:

If seen a picture after they took this and the boy is all smiles, they did not run his arm over.

Oh for god’s sake — this has been circulating on the web for 5 years now, and has been debunked for just as long. THis is a street performance, a magic trick. That’s all. http://www.snopes.com/photos/gruesome/crushboy.asp

Incidentally, people aren’t hungry in Iran, where standards of living have significantly improved. And furthermore, under Islamic Law, a child under 15 is incapable of having the mental state to commit a crime, and so cannot be punished.

    respected to whom-server
well these images aqre very original and it might be true that they did this horror thing to that inocent child…but i must tell u one thing..that iran is a country of shia..and shia are not muslims..our PROPHET MUHAMMAD S.A.W.S did tell us to cut the hands off of the thief who steals..and it is just not for only the lower class ones but for all of em…islam teaches us equality…n i myself saying this that a child with such age must be warned first bc he is at the age of learning….i am ashamed of those people who r doing such things to just a child…and mark one thing..they take laws of islam seriously when it comes to others and refuse/deni it when it comes to them…they are known as mushrik

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
