Kathy Anne Sawyer-Curry I think of myself as a happy-go-lucky mother of two. My children are Kourtney and Kendall. I feel very blessed to have been given the opportunity to experience raising a daughter and a son. My children are very special to me but my beloved son has given me the most joyful gift of all, a grandson named Kaiden. He is a double blessing! Honestly, grandchildren are a new reason to wake up and breathe! While raising my children as a single mother, I have worked two jobs and gone to school on and off for years. Finally... in May of 2006 I received my bachelor's degree in Business Marketing. In August of the same year my grandson was born. In September of the same year a job fell in my lap with no effort on my part. In December of the same year my current husband became my love. Needless to say, the year 2006 was good to me! In July 2007 I married for the first time and instantly became a military wife. My husband was relocated, and after 45 years in Indiana, I am now a happy resident of Columbus, Georgia. Life is good! I am enjoying the new beginning, the warm weather, wonderful neighbors, and the challenges of continuing to make my mark in life. I have worked in: banking, Not-For-Profits, Tour/Travel/Hospitality, corporate America, and on my own. Once I realized that joy and sorrow are on the opposite sides of the same moment, I understand, life is what we make it. I choose happiness!
