“911, McDonald’s Is Out of McNuggets!”

I first heard about this story from my husband. Then 30 minutes later, I saw a news report on it on Inside Edition. It’s really crazy what people are doing nowadays. Anyways, in Fort Pierce, FL, 27-year-old Latreasa L. Goodman called 911 three different times to report that after she had ordered, and paid for 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, she was informed that McDonalds had run out of the nuggets. She said she then asked for her money back but was told all sales were final and the restaurant refused to return her money to her.
Now, I would’ve understood this better if it had been a child playing on the phone. But she is 27-years-old! WTH??!! In her defense, I will say that McDonald’s should’ve given her a full refund because they did not have what she paid for. I wonder why they didn’t tell her BEFORE she paid for the nuggets that they didn’t have them. I watched Inside Edition interview Ms. Goodman and she feels she had every right to call 911 to report this. Here’s may take on it: McDonalds should’ve given the woman her money back AND the woman shouldn’t have called 911. 7DayBuzz readers, take a look at this news report and tell us your thoughts:

Oh come on. Using 911 for reporting McNugget injustice? We’ve all got to realize that there could have been someone dying who couldn’t get through to 911 because this lady had a problem with her McDonalds order. There is such a thing as a non emergency police number and I’m assuming there is a corporate number to Ronald McDonalds office that would have been the correct avenue to take as opposed to dialing 911. Being ignorant is no excuse for possibly impeding with someone else s life. I can’t wait to see if the throw the book…..oh wait…McNuggets at her in the court of law.
I bet the McDonalds worker was the same upstanding citizen that was at that Obama town hall meeting.

it’s true — McDonalds will tear you up if you’re not careful… i had two Big Macs today in one sitting, and I feel like it was the worst mistake of my life

I am totally against police brutality. My cousin, on the other hand, says that she would not do that again had they given her a pair of raccoon eyes. (I couldn’t believe he said it either.)
